Richard D. Hubbard School's educational philosophy maintains that the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth of students is primary to their success in this fast world of multicultural differences. Toward this end, our staff recognizes individuality while helping students develop his/her full potential in an responsive environment where optimal learning can take place. This is accomplished by taking into account the student's individual needs and providing him/her with a wide range of activities intended to develop and encourage self expression. In providing an atmosphere which instills positive human relationships based on mutual respect and appreciation for the interests, attitudes, and opinions of others, all students are encouraged to achieve individual excellence while realizing the value of cooperative effort. It is hoped that the students will ultimately develop a sense of responsibility for their own personal learning experience.
