On Wednesday, October 19th, BHS will administer the PSAT/NMSQT test during the school day. Wednesday, Oct. 19 is a half-day, so a special schedule will be forthcoming. In the meantime, 9-11th graders are encouraged to seek out information on the PSAT test at the College Board website. There are strict requirements about cell phones and calculators which must be adhered to:
Students should review the "What to Bring to the PSAT" document provided for the BHS testing setting. This will provide you with information for what you should and should NOT bring to your PSAT testing site, along with a list of acceptable calculators. All questions can be solved without a calculator but a scientific or graphing calculator is recommended. You cannot substitute Chromebooks, laptops, tablets, cell phones, smartwatches, or smartphones as a calculating device. Calculators that have access to the Internet or have wireless, Bluetooth, cellular, audio/video, recording and playing, camera, or any other smartphone-type feature are also not allowed.
