Hour of Code is a one hour introduction to computer science designed to prove that anyone can learn the basics of coding. While students have been coding throughout the school year, all students at Griswold School will participate in the Hour of Code this year during the month of December. This includes the week of December 4th, which is nationally known as Computer Science Education Week.

During this year's American Education Week—November 13-17, 2017—millions of educators, parents, students, and community leaders will join the National Education Association (NEA) in raising awareness about the critical need to provide every child with a quality public education. In observation of American Education Week, we are inviting parents to Griswold School to observe our children as they interact with the curriculum, share ideas, and work cooperatively.
