Exercising your option to withhold your child
Parents of a child who is 4/5 (who are kindergarten eligible) years of age have the option not to send their child to school until the child is 6 or 7 years of age. If you decide to elect to exercise your option to withhold your child from kindergarten in the Berlin Public Schools for the 2017-2018 school year, please complete and return a SCHOOL ATTENDANCE OPTION form to the Board of Education.  This form must be returned even if your child will be attending a private or magnet school.
