Unity Team Penny Challenge After the devastating hurricanes that have hit the United States recently, it is clear that many are seeking help to rehabilitate their lives. In response, the Unity Team has coordinated a “penny wars” drive in hopes to make a difference. The drive will last from October 16th to October 25th. Students and Teachers can donate during any lunch waves. Similar to McGee's March Madness program, if someone adds coins to a particular grade's container, the amount in coins will ADD to the that team's score; however, if someone adds bills to the containers, the amount of that bill will be subtracted. For example, a five dollar bill will subtract 500 points. Winners will be announced at the pep rally! So, check your pockets and don't forget to look under the couch cushions, every cent counts!
