Today is a Day 4 Schedule

Veterans Day Volunteers There will be a Veterans Day program on November 9 here at BHS which starts at 7PM. Student volunteers are needed. This will be a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the great sacrifices of the men and women who have served this nation. Please see Mr. Cronk for details in Room 1106.

Unity Team Penny Challenge After the devastating hurricanes that have hit the United States recently, it is clear that many are seeking help to rehabilitate their lives. In response, the Unity Team has coordinated a “penny wars” drive in hopes to make a difference. The drive will last from October 16th to October 25th. Students and Teachers can donate during any lunch waves. Similar to McGee's March Madness program, if someone adds coins to a particular grade's container, the amount in coins will ADD to the that team's score; however, if someone adds bills to the containers, the amount of that bill will be subtracted. For example, a five dollar bill will subtract 500 points. Winners will be announced at the pep rally! So, check your pockets and don't forget to look under the couch cushions, every cent counts!

Pep Rally Guidelines We're looking forward to a wonderful Pep Rally experience on Friday. Here are a few guidelines to remember:

  • During the Pep Rally, no bags will be allowed in the A Gym. At the end of the Pep Rally, students will have time to pick up their belongings from their Period 8 class
  • Only students participating in an event are allowed on the gym floor
  • Students participating in events MUST wear sneakers and must have signed up to participate in the event prior to the Pep Rally
  • Students not abiding by these rules, or any school rules, will be held accountable for their actions.
