Dear Hubbard School Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to another special year at Richard D. Hubbard School! I hope this communication finds you in health and happiness, ready for all that the 2012-2013 school year has to offer. Rest assured, when the doors open on August 31st, a renewed energy will be infused into the building by the mere presence of our young learners!
Our talented staff works diligently and collaboratively to provide a standards-based curriculum for 250 students ranging from Kindergarten though Grade 5. Through shared commitment, common vision, and a unifying educational philosophy, the professional community at Hubbard seeks to support every child on his/her own pathway to success. By providing a structured, respectful, nurturing learning environment defined by expectation, rigor, and positive reinforcement students thrive in academic, social, and emotional arenas. Children are provided numerous learning opportunities and experiences in the aforementioned areas, resulting in both personal and collective growth and achievement.
This website has been designed to provide members of our educational community with pertinent school information. Last year, a district committee worked to design new websites to establish continuity across schools in the district. Our school webmaster, Mrs. Lamond will be working in conjunction with administration, the PTO and the Board of Education office to keep our site timely and accurate. Please check the website periodically for updates concerning our school and district.
