BHS Senior Keshav Patel, wrote a book on programming in Java.
Here are some interesting facts about the book:
Why was the book written:
I wrote the book as part of my Internship at Learn To Program Media. The book itself was written to fill a gap in guidebook levels. Most guidebooks assume the reader has a bit of background knowledge when it comes to programming. This means that sometimes people get confused in the technical terms that get thrown around. "Java Programming: The Beginning Beginner's Guide" is meant for people who have never written a line of code before. It's meant to get you from knowing nothing to being familiarized with the basics of programming, using Java. The goal at the end of the book is that you have a basic idea of how to program and you're ready to move on to more intense and advanced stuff in the field.

About the publisher:
The publishing was taken care of by Learn to Program Media. They're a company that produces online courses and books to help people of all skill levels learn programming. I had the awesome opportunity to work with them over the summer. They're actually ones that helped me develop an interest in Computer Science though their courses. They don't just produce books though. They have a whole catalog of web courses, too. You can check them out here:
