Monday’s Directed Study band is for all 7th and 8th grade band on stage. 


COLOR  GUARD

The Color Guard will practice this week:

  • Tuesday-6th grade during Directed Study

  • Wednesday- everyone 2:20-3:00pm

BASEBALL

Congratulations to the McGee baseball team who defeated Wilson on Friday by the score of 14-3.  Pitching great for McGee were Kasey Ouellette and Taiten May.  Leading the defense was Ralph.  The offense was sparked by Sal Dastoli who had 4 doubles and a triple.  The team plays away today.


SOFTBALL

The McGee Softball Team improved their record to 3 and 1 with a 20-4 victory over Wilson Middle School on Friday.  The offense was led by Sophia Fazzina (5 hits, 7 RBI), Rylee Cop (4 hits, 3 RBI), Shae Bannon (3 hits, 2 RBI) and Alex Spinali (3 hits, 2 RBI).  Alexa Prendergast led the defense while Hailey Wieczorek pitched a complete game for the win.


GIRLS  TRACK

The McGee Girls Track team came away with 3rd place finish at the Tolland Invitational on Saturday.

Point scorers for McGee include: Bailey Baclaski, Taylor Desmarais, Meredith Beers, Margaret Taylor, Isabella Cloutier, Anna Butrimas, Brianna DeMorais, Brielle DuPont, Lindsey Eckrote, Olivia Marolda, Jenna Wenzel, Alina Asatourian, Jenna Borselle, Paige Kemish, Julia Palmese and Alyssa Wenzel.


McGee took 1st place in all 3 relays!
Mr. Keefe and Mrs. Zagorski were proud of the effort and behavior of the entire team.

The team competes today at home against Derby and Colchester at BHS.
