Dredcoat Fun Run The Athletic Department is hosting a spooktacular fun run on Friday, October 13th. Take a 1.25 mile enchanted journey through Sage Park dressed in your festive best and be prepared for hidden surprises along the way! The first 250 registrants receive a free t-shirt; go to https://berlinredcoats.ludustickets.com to sign up today. Registration fee is $20 and proceeds benefit the Berlin Public Schools Athletic Department.

First GSA+ Club Meeting Our first meeting is after school on Monday 10/16 at 2:15 pm in room 2402. Allies are as welcome as community members. The focus of the first meeting is an introduction to GSA, ice-breakers and pronouns.

National Bullying Prevention Month The Random Acts of Kindness club invites everyone to wear blue on Thursday, October 5 in support of National Bullying Prevention Month. The National Education Association estimates that over 160,000 students stay home from school each day because of bullying. Let’s do our job of reminding ourselves and others that bullying in every form does not have a place here at BHS. Go blue on Thursday!

Class of 2020 Fundraiser Please support your class and purchase a class of 2020 t-shirt. They are only $10.00!!! Order forms can be found on Schoology, the red zones (red bulletin boards), and outside of office 12C. All orders are due by October 13th to Miss Cassello or Mrs. Smith.

Attention Writing Center Tutors! Our next meeting for all current tutors will take place on Tuesday, October 10 at 2:15 in room 1501. We will discuss our semester 1 schedule and review procedural information. Please make every effort to attend.

Arthur E. Webster Scholarship The Arthur E. Webster Scholarship applications are now available in the Berlin High School Main Office or can be found on the Guidance page (http://bhsguidance.berlinschools.org) of our website under News, Events & Scholarships. This scholarship is available to students who attended Berlin High School, are residents of the town of Berlin, and who have completed at least one year in a post-high school institution of higher learning. Applications must be completed and returned to the Berlin High School Counseling Office by Friday, October 27, 2018.
