Talent Show Practice
There will be a practice from 2:30-3:00 on Wednesday for any student who would like to sing the National Anthem this Saturday morning at the cross country invitational at Sage Park. We will meet in the choral room.
Any student who would like to sing "The National Anthem" this Saturday morning for the Cross Country Invitational should plan to stay after school today for a rehearsal from 2:30-3:00 in the choral room. See Mrs. Terlecky if you are unable to stay after school but would still like to participate.

Student Council will be hosting a "Fright Night" on Friday, October 13th for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders from 7pm until 9pm! There will be dancing, gaga ball, a Halloween movie and a haunted hallway! The dance is $5 and don't forget a non-perishable food item to be entered into the raffle for an Amazon gift card. YOU MUST HAVE A PERMISSION SLIP TO ENTER THE DANCE! Hope to see you Friday night!

The McGee Boys Varsity Soccer Team defeated Johnston Middle School yesterday 11-4. Garrett Fallon scored his first goal of the season on his birthday! Also scoring for McGee were Marco Marino, Griffin Hilbie, Sean Hunt, Braden Shea, Adam Kozubal, Monty Malinauskas, Josh Grimm, Zach Cancelleri and Josh Braun, while Mason Arborio and Jake Ferland helped out with assists.
The McGee Lady Spartans cruised to a 5-1 victory yesterday at Colchester. Gabby Crossley opened the flood gates scoring the first goal and was followed by tallies by Lindsey Leary, Taylor Danielle, Olivia Salina, and Taylor Bellizzi. It was Crossley who netted the only score in the JV game, leading McGee to a 1-0 victory. Both the varsity and jv squads defeated East Hampton last Thursday. The girls travel to RHAM today.
The boys Cross Country team won its 6th straight meet as they defeated Rocky Hill at Sage Park yesterday. Austin Vale da Serra placed 1st overall to pace the Spartans. Ben Fisher was second followed by Sean Colello in 4th, Jack Baclaski in 7th and Xander Hummel in 6th.
The girls team lost a close meet 31 to 26. Carlise Perales finished 3rd followed by Bailey Baclaski in 4th, Claudia Jankovich in 7th, Margaret Taylor in 8th, Gianna Uba in 9th, Hayley Campanelli in10th and Hailey Nims in 11th.
The next Cross Country meet is home tomorrow against St. Paul's of Kensington and Thomas Edison of Meriden.
