The McGee Lady Spartans notched their first win of the season in dramatic fashion!  With only 4.6 ticks on the game clock, Alivia Halkias drove the length of the court and sank a long range jump shot at the buzzer, leading McGee to a 27-26 victory.  Kailee DeMaio led McGee with 8 points, while Halkias and Rylee Cop added 6 and 5 points for the game.  Jenna Wenzel played outstanding defense and Taylor Desmarais managed the game from the point position.  The Girls play today and tomorrow at home.

The McGee boys basketball team defeated Strong Middle School of Durham on Wednesday with a score of 54 to 29.  Mike Ciarcia led a fine team effort with 21 points.  Garrett Fallon chipped in with 8.  All twelve boys led a superb defense holding Strong to only 11 points after the third period.

The boys JV basketball team defeated Strong 37 to 34.  Ryan Hines led the scoring with 9.  Jordan Rivera had 8 and Kevin Paventi had 7 to spark a great 4th quarter comeback.
