GIRLS  BASKETBALL

Sparked by outstanding defense, the McGee Lady Spartans defeated rival Rocky Hill 29-20. Jenna Wenzel and Rylee Cop played shut-down defense while Kylee DeMaio led the way with 7 points. Megan Lukaseski and Taylor Desmarais chipped in 5 a piece while Sophia Fazzina netted two baskets in the final minutes of the game. No practice today due to the half day, but practice at 2:30 tomorrow.


BOYS  BASKETBALL

The McGee Varsity Boys Basketball team ran their record to 5-1 with a 57 to 19 win over Rocky Hill.  Mike Ciarcia led all scorers with 17 points.  Jamie Palmese had 10 points and Kyle Hyde had 6.

The Boys JV Squad lost 35 to 27.  Marino Fanelli led the JV Squad with 8 points and Colby Nardelli chipped in with 6.
