MATH  COUNTS

Math Counts will meet after school on Monday and Thursday this week until 3:30 both days.


CHROMEBOOKS

Students are reminded that under Chromebook chargers should only be in school on NWEA and SBAC testing days.  Students need to charge their Chromebooks at home.


Chromebooks must be left in a classroom or a locker during lunch.  Chromebooks may not be left in the hallway.  There are no exceptions.  


MINECRAFT

Minecraft club is cancelled for this week.


SPIRIT  WEAR

Don't forget to have your spirit wear orders in to your homeroom teacher by Monday, January 29th!  All proceeds will go towards the McGee in DC Scholarship fund!


YEARBOOK  CLUB

Yearbook Club will meet this Thursday after school until the 3pm late bus. Please bring your Chromebooks.

BOYS BASKETBALL

The McGee Boys Varsity Basketball team lost a heartbreaker to Middletown on Monday.  It was a battle for 1st place and Middletown scored on two free throws with 4 seconds left to win 45-43.  Mike Ciarcia had 18 points and Max Wojtusik had 14.


The McGee Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Colchester yesterday 65-39.  The Spartans were led by Casey Ouellette with 14 points and Jacob Smalley with 10.


The JV Boys won 35-24 behind the scoring of Ryan Hines and a good team defense.  

GIRLS  BASKETBALL

The McGee Lady Spartans led start to finish yesterday, defeating Colchester 34-24. Kailee DeMaio and Lindsey Eckrote the way with 11 and 8 points each. Sophia Fazzina, Rylee Cop, and Alivia Halkias each added 4 points. In the jv game, McGee also led wire to wire, defeating their opponent 23-13. Mary Confransecso led the way for McGee.


Please join the McGee girls basketball team this Friday as they host a hat day. For only $1, you can have your hand stamped and wear your favorite hat all day. Proceeds from the hat day will go toward the Washington DC scholarship fund.
