“Kids don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

WHAT THE STUDENTS SAY...

“The projects that are done with Upbeat show adults and younger children in the community, as well as the rest of the school community, that high school students can in fact be productive in enhancing the community. Upbeat builds bridges between the different facets of our school and our community while helping us to build our own character.” ~ Patrick King’08

Berlin Upbeat Annual Expo
Posted 12/08/2016 11:39AM

On Wednesday December 7th, Berlin Upbeat held their annual Upbeat Expo. At this event, senior house leaders get the chance to present the work they have accomplished so far this year. Many members from the Berlin Community were in attendance from, administrators, town officials, and parents. This was a great opportunity for the seniors to show all of the skills they have developed while in Upbeat and the positive work they do around the community.
We would like to personally thank everyone who attended and a special thanks to the VFW, Berlin McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, and Tina Doyle for donating many of the great items that were provided. If you have any questions regarding Upbeat or any of our up-coming events please contact Jack Rudy, Upbeat Director, at (860) 828-6577 ext. 2330 or jrudy@berlinschools.org.
