  • Henrik Hudson discovers Manhattan Island in 1609

  • Benedict Arnold’s expedition to Quebec leaves Cambridge, MA in 1775

  • The British-American Peace Conference fails to stop the start of the Revolutionary War in 1776

  • The Annapolis Convention opens in 1786 – it paves the way for the Constitutional Convention of 1787

  • Alexander Hamilton becomes the first Secretary of the Treasury in 1789

GIRLS  SOCCER

The dates for girls soccer tryouts have changed! Tryouts will now begin on Wednesday 9/12 from 2:30-4:00. Tryouts will continue Thursday 9/13 and Tuesday 9/18 from 2:30-4:00. Please make sure you have signed up on Family ID and have a physical on file with the nurse. Any questions, please speak with Ms Cooper in room 215 or Ms Buzzelli in room 232.


BOYS  SOCCER

Tryouts for the Boys' Soccer Team will be held Monday, TODAY and Wednesday after school.  Please speak with Mr. Beaupre or
Mr. Centurelli if you would like to try out but missed this week's meeting.


CROSS  COUNTRY

Cross Country will practice today rain or shine.   See you there!


LIBRARY

Please return all Summer Reading Books to the Library by Thursday, September 13th. If you are not sure if you have a book checked out, please stop by the LMC and ask Ms.Ziemba or Mrs. Turgeon.
