CROSS COUNTRY

Friday Aug 24th Athlete Meeting at BHS in the weight room:

Boys at 6:00pm

Girls at 6:30pm 

Saturday Aug 25th both boys and girls will have the first practice at

Pistol Creek from 8-11:00am

 

 

VOLLEYBALL

Try out dates:   

August 23 - Freshmen 9:30 to 11:30, everyone else 12:00 - 3:00

August 24 - Freshmen 9:30 to 11:30, everyone else 12:00 - 3:00

August 25 - Freshmen 9:30 to 11:30, everyone else 12:00 - 3:00

GIRLS SWIM/DIVE

Thursday Aug. 23th - 25

Meet at main entrance of BHS.

Time: 8-10:00 AM   Bus from BHS leaves at 7:20 AM - practices will be held at Plainville HS Pool.

Everyone will be in the water that day so be prepared!

 

 

CHEERLEADING

Tryouts were held in the Spring. Regular practices will begin on August 30th, and will run every Monday and Thursday night from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the B GYM.

Mroczkowski, Halkias and Xiarhos set records at the State Open Track Meet.
Senior Nikki Xiarhos and Junior Alex Halkias set school records in the 200 m dash, taking 5th and 6th at the CIAC State Open Track and Field Championships.  Alex ran 22.45 seconds taking 6th place, qualifying to compete at the New England Meet.  Nikki ran 25.19 sec finishing 5th, and qualified for New Englands.  Junior Patty Mroczkowski won the High Jump becoming CT  State Champion, while tying her own school record of 5-8.  Patty will also represent Berlin at the New England Track meet on June 9th and the New Balance Outdoor National Meet in North Carolina.
Jonathon Trevethan wins the Class M Individual Championship in Tennis.

BHS Tennis player Jonathon Trevethan won the 2018 Class M individual State Championship, finishing the season 24-0 in the CCC. Jon ran the table, breezing through the season, and the Tournament, without dropping a single set.  Click Here to see the Tournament Bracket

The BHS Girls Softball team will hold a fundraiser on May 22 to benefit the Tyler Cop Memorial Foundation

The Softball team is spreading the word for their Annual Memorial Game on May 22 vs. Coginchaug.  All proceeds from this year's game will be donated to the Tyler Cop Memorial Foundation.  The team will also be selling t-shirts.  If you are interested in buying a t-shirt, please fill out an order form, you can print one by following the provided link.  Shirts will cost $10 and money should be handed in to Alexa Lanteri or Michelle Cohen by Friday May 11th. https://goo.gl/forms/veo2SR0dwRSE9qrE3
