Student Council raised $510 for Operation ELF
Posted 12/19/2017 10:56AM

Willard Elementary School Student Council collected monetary donations from December 4th-8th for Operation E.L.F (Embracing Lonely Families), which is sponsored by the Connecticut National Guard. The donations that were collected will assist Connecticut military families who are in need this holiday season.

The goal set by Student Council was to raise a total of $400.00 within the week. Each morning, students shared messages during morning announcements and encouraged others to participate in this worthy cause. To our delight, students and staff at Willard Elementary School exceeded the goal and raised a total $510.23. Teachers and staff are so very proud of all students who contributed to this cause and demonstrated their kindness and dedication toward helping others.
